November Events

 

The holiday season is right around the corner! Let the season of family gatherings, full bellies, and falling leaves begin! Nashvember is back, as are other local favorites such as the Music City Yoga Festival and Christmas for Kids at the Ryman. New festivals and events are also popping up so make sure to mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a whole lot of fun!


November 3: Wine Down Main Street
Historic Main Street | Franklin

Mark your calendars, call your friends, and book the babysitter! This unique wine tasting event includes more than 30 shops that will play host to wines from around the world. Participants will taste wines, shop, and sample food from area restaurants, all while listening to great live music!


November 9-10: Tinsel & Treasures Shopping Extravaganza
Gallatin Square | Gallatin

The Gallatin Christmas Open House, now known as Holiday Tinsel & Treasures, has been a tradition for over 40 years! Local retail merchants open their doors every second weekend in November to give shoppers the chance to start their Christmas shopping early. It’s also a great opportunity for Gallatin retail businesses to get a jump start on sales before Black Friday or Shop Local Saturday!


November 10: Nashvember
Track One | Nashville

Back for the 5th year, Project 615 will host their annual Nashvember! Get ready for a busy afternoon with over 60 local vendors, food trucks, and a live broadcast from Lightning 100. Not only is this a great event for the family, but it’s also free to attend!


November 10: Music City Yoga Festival
Rocketown | Nashville

The Music City Yoga Festival returns for its 6th year of celebration! The Nashville yoga community will have an opportunity to participate in yoga classes, a marketplace full of local vendors, food trucks, and live music. Bring out the yoga mats and snag a ticket before you go!


November 17: Stone Cellar’s Barn Sale
The Grove at Williamson Place | Murfreesboro

With over 40 local artisan vendors, live music, food trucks, and many other entertainment options, this isn’t your typical barn sale! Bring out your family for a day of shopping and fun that will benefit Stepping Stones Safe Haven, a local homeless shelter for women and children of Middle Tennessee!


November 17: Christmas Tree Elegance and Reception
Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center | Hendersonville

This is a breath-taking event where five 7 Ft. trees are regally decorated by local and nationally known designers! Each tree is uniquely decorated to match a particular theme and embellished with gifts donated by the designers. Other entertainment options include a historic walk, catering, art, music and door prizes by local businesses!


November 19: Christmas for Kids at The Ryman
Ryman Auditorium | Nashville

For over 25 years, Christmas 4 Kids has been providing children in need with their very own shopping spree! Using the funds from this benefit concert, they give over 400 children, from 29 different schools, a day-long shopping excursion. The special day includes a trip from their school on a luxury tour bus, dinner, a party hosted by Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a trip to Walmart where the kids receive a brand new winter coat and $150 to spend!


 

November 24: North Pole Express Santa Excursion Train
Tennessee Central Railway Museum | Nashville

Live out your childhood dream and ride on a restored classic streamlined stainless steel passenger train with Santa and his elves! Guests will travel from Nashville to Watertown where they will get to explore local shops and restaurants. Relax and experience travel by rail, where getting there is part of the fun!


November 30: Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
City Park | Brentwood

Gather at City Park in Downtown Brentwood for their annual tree lighting ceremony! Festivities will include live music, singing, and a visit from Santa Claus, followed by the official lighting of the Christmas tree!
